Denis Arthur Greenhill, Baron Greenhill of Harrow, (1913-2000) was a British diplomat and politician who served as Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Head of the Diplomatic Service from 1969 to 1973. Greenhill had held diplomatic appointments in the United States and was Britain’s special envoy to Rhodesia in 1972 and 1976.
